We have included twelve directed drawings in this "zoo animal" themed volume. (Hippo, Tiger, Parrot, Elephant, Lion, Monkey, Giraffe, Zebra, Kangaroo, Panda, Camel, Koala) These drawings have been specifically designed for beginning artists. Even the youngest children will experience success with these drawings. If you desire greater challenge, you may consider adding more detail to each of the drawings or use one of the additional art suggestions listed in each section. All drawings are completed in an easy to follow five-step format. These step-by-step drawing cards may be used as posters, on an overhead projector or docu-cam. Our directed drawing books are sold singly or in discounted group sets.

ABC Schoolhouse is the creation of Stefani Sadler M.A. and Tracy Jarboe M.Ed. We are educators with over 40 years combined experience. We both enjoy writing, illustrating, and presenting creative and innovative learning materials for young children. Tracy is currently working as an elementary administrator in CO and Stefani is teaching second grade in AZ. We know how difficult finding valuable and appropriate learning materials can be. Our mission is to provide the best standard-based resources we can to be used with students. All of our materials are child-centered and classroom tested. We understand the value of your time and know that you will find our materials to be easy to use and ready to implement. Above all else, we strive to make learning fun and meaningful.
