Great! I revised the books this weekend but not audios yet - will do that this week. The correction (which is in the Wow Cherokee book you bought) is that they rarely used tipis, instead they lived in homes made of mud and rivercane and thatched roofs. Please use this opportunity to show kids the importance of reading critically, like the person who gave me valuable feedback on inaccurate sources, who lives in Cherokee, GA. Let the students have the natural debate that will occur, then use as a teaching tool. It has taught me to not just check my sources, but go TO the source when possible! Will update audios in the next week or so, and you will get a notification that it's revised for you to download free. Enjoy!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching elementary school for 8 years, and taught 3-5 year-olds for 10 years before that. I have been researching and writing for 3 years to teach standards-based content in a way that I feel is very successful. I started writing the materials myself, due to a lack of materials in social studies with the right readability level. I have always loved to write, and now I've found a very useful outlet for myself as a teacher/writer, and hopefully other teachers and learners (aren't we all?) will enjoy my materials!
