Kit includes:

• 4 PowerPoint slideshows for use in assessing your students




• All word lists, 3-second interval, white background


• All word lists, 3-second interval, yellow background


• All word lists, 3-second interval, light blue background


• All word lists, manual transition, white background




• Student Tracking Sheet


• Customizable Flashcard Template


• Word List Spreadsheet for use with Flashcard Template

Directions:

• Run copies of the Student Tracking Sheet for each of your students.


• Assess your students using one of the PowerPoint slideshows. Track each students’ progress on the Tracking Sheet using different-colored highlighters for each assessment period.


• Once you have established which sight words a student needs to practice, open the Flashcard Template in Word. Use the Mail Merge Wizard to create your flashcards.




• The label size is 2 in. x 4 in. (Avery 8163). This will give you 10 flashcards per page. These can be printed on standard copy paper, rather than label stock.


• When choosing the recipient list, link to the Word List Spreadsheet. Select only the words the student needs to practice.


• Complete the merge by printing your flashcards.
