Correlated with Common Core Writing Standards
Students will write a persuasive as they try to convince their readers not to eat a gingerbread cookie. Students need to develop a topic, list the facts, form an opinion, and end with a satisfying conclusion. Included in this writing unit:

Optional Recipes for making gingerbread cookies and applesauce cinnamon gingerbread shaped ornaments for your classroom tree. These smell amazing and are so easy to make.
