This resource is divided into three separate sections in order to appeal to the needs and abilities of your students, as well as the numbers that you are currently working with in your classroom. Each level includes 20 ice cream cones with a sum/difference. Additionally, 40 ice cream scoop cards are included that students will match to each cone.
Level 1 includes the numbers from 1-20. Students will be solving addition and subtraction equations with numbers lower than 20. Level 2 includes numbers between 21 and 50. Level 3 includes numbers between 51 and 100.
Teachers have several options for using this center activity. First, teachers may choose only one level to work on, and save the next ones for later in the year. Alternatively, some teachers may choose to use the different levels in order to differentiate to the range of abilities within the typical classroom. Use Level 3 as enrichment and Level 1 as scaffolding.
Enjoy!

This is a perfect center activity! I love that it is leveled for students of different abilities. My first graders are becoming fluent with their addition and subtraction facts within 20. I know I'll be able to use this fun center all year as their skills increase!
My Grade 2s love the centre and forget that they are having to do math in order to match up the ice creams. Very easy to just print and ready to go! Love your products Shelley

love it! who doesn't love ice cream?!?! this will get them hungry for addition and subtraction.
As always, this is a great resource and will help me during my math block!! I LOVE that you have 3 levels to this AND blank pieces to customize for your needs. I teach a gifted cluster of 2nd graders and definitely have a wide range of abilities! This will be great! I'm going to introduce it as soon as I get it printed, laminated, and cut out!
