This lesson uses the song Down by the Bay to help teach/review rhyming words. This lesson is used with SMART Board but can be used with just a projector as well if you have the SMART Notebook software on your computer. Students drag a number to the star to find out what their next rhyming verse is. Afterwards I have students create their own rhyming verses and I put all their verses into their own class book. My worksheet for this activity is also locate on my page.

Still learning how to make my own SmartBoard presentations. Love the way the picture moves into place. Great idea for future reference. Also, looking forward to using this with my younger students since this is usually one of the favorite songs. Always brings a giggle or two. Thanks!
