I totally agree with you that the t & w words are the ones that slow up fluency in modest readers. This game will get needed repetitious practice for those modest readers that struggle with these kinds of sight words. Thanks for putting practice in a fun game format! I LOVE THE CRAB...too cute!

I've been teaching for 26 years, with the majority of my experience being in first grade. I taught Reading Recovery for 5 years, and that experience has impacted every day of my teaching since! For the past 10 years, I've enjoyed teaching a first grade literacy intervention class. It has also been my privilege to present various workshops on literacy topics at the local, state, and national level. My goal is to ignite a passion for reading and writing in young learners.
