Paper, Scissors, Kids Cut and Paste Pattern Packets, offer heartwarming and colorful art activities that will brighten your classroom bulletin boards and put smiles on the faces of your students as they finish each art project.
As an elementary school teacher, I believe that you, like me, are always looking for ideas that will motivate your students and improve their fine motor skills. Our pattern packets are designed to save you time in both your lesson planning and preparation.
I have included written instructions with graphics to help you present the cut and paste art activity to your students. Or the written directions can be used at a learning center for those children who enjoy working independently with visual step by step instructions.
Most importantly I know that these heart-warming art projects will provide opportunities to improve your student's fine motor dexterity, their ability to follow directions, as well as develop their spatial memory, and enhance basic math skills. In addition, when children complete an art activity from one of these pattern packets, they feel good about themselves and about the finished project! Each child's creativity shines through their completed project so that, even though, they begin with a pattern they all look a little different and unique. Therefore when displayed on a classroom bulletin board they will all bring numerous complements and smiles from parents and co-workers.

Help
I have been teaching for over 35 years. I am currently working as a teacher/librarian. In the past I have used my cut and paste art projects to improve my students cutting skills, and problem solving abilities as well as enhance my units of study. I also enjoy the way my room looks when my bulletin boards are decorated with children's artwork, especially cut and paste art projects. I find that even though the basic pattern is the same each child's work is uniquely their own. Currently I use my cut and paste art projects to decorate my library and compliment the stories I am reading to my students. Over the years I have taught preschool through 8th grade and I have found that all ages enjoy sitting down and completing a cut and paste art project.
