This is a set of four pages with math activities and word problems to go with the Houghton Mifflin reading program story "Dragon Gets By". Many common core standards are covered by these activities! The math concepts covered include money, elapsed time, time relationships, graphing, basic addition and subtraction, multiplication/repeated addition, division, shapes, place value, expanded and word form of numbers, odd/even, rounding, simple fractions, checking subtraction with addition, measurement with non standard units, comparing/ordering numbers, skip counting, using tables with patterns to solve multiplication type problems, problem solving, and mathematical reasoning. This is a great supplemental activity to support both your reading and math curriculum and also a great idea for incorporating the M in STEM into the curriculum!

My download of this item is displayed on a total of 7 pages instead of the stated 4 pages and the food graph question with the Xs is skewed. The food labels are not lined up under the proper column of Xs and there are no graph boxes as displayed in your preview. I have a MAC computer and have tried to open this with Pages and also with Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader states that it is not a supported file. Not sure what I am doing wrong - any help with correcting this problem would be appreciated.
