Draw, Cut, Create BASICS packet

In this packet, students are introduced to drawing and cutting techniques that are used to create a picture using basic shapes. The step by step illustrations in this packet are SIMPLE shapes so they are easy for even the youngest learner to follow. In this packet, students create a tree, a face, a forest, a sailboat, a birthday cake, a sun, and a house. I have included a basic shapes sheet as well as fun and easy ways to make a heart, a trapezoid, and animal legs.
Full color photographs can be used to guide students into searching for shapes found in everyday objects.
If you enjoy my other Draw and Cut and Lets Make a Book packets, this is a great introduction to the basic steps needed to create the booklets and illustrations contained in those products! I have included a cover page that can be stapled to the inner pages to create a shape book. This is what I do and it works out wonderfully to have all the shape pages together!

Please, please understand that this packet is VERY basic! The step by step illustrations are for very young children to follow and are extremely simple for older children!
