This set is another center kit you can add to your literacy center rotation and let your students become the best independent learners they can be. In this kit, there are step by step visual directions for students to follow and complete a drawing of something for each letter of the alphabet. Once they are done with their drawing, they need to copy, write or fill in (you choose depending on your students!) a sentence. You can also easily differentiate with this kit because I provide 3 choices/levels of sentences for students to read and write, as well as a blank (with or without lines) page which allows you to create your own sentences (cloze or otherwise) that could include current sight words, letters and/or current concepts you are working on. You can make this set work for you in the best way possible because of so many choices and options. I have included many different ways for you to choose from for your students to record their work, as well as very detailed directions on how to easily implement this in your classroom and make it a staple literacy center that your students can do on their own and will ask for week after week. Not to mention that your students will become even better artists and realize that, yes, they really can draw!

I am wanting to buy this, but I was wondering if you have any digraphs in this package yet? My kids loved the free sample "Ch if for Chick!"

Love your products... My students really enjoyed this. I was wondering if you made a "you can draw" for diagraphs or blends? I teach kinder and that would be a great skill to try to "you can draw". I loved the freebie for "ch is for chick" that's where I got the idea and looked all over your store and can't find it. Please let me know, thank you!!!

I seem to be having the same issue as a lot of people already mentioned. I tried to get your freebie and I can see the pdf, but it won't let me print. I ended up buying the whole $8.00 packet thinking it was just the freebie, but I cannot print this pack either. I've never had this problem before with any TpT product. Any chance you could email it to me?

Thanks - it looks like a great resource, but I just want to use it.

Dear Valued Customer:
Most are able to download and print my products without any problems, so, I am wondering if you have the latest version of Adobe Reader.
To print:

Let's be sure that you are opening these with the latest Adobe Reader which can be downloaded from here:

http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/

Once this application is downloaded to your computer:

1) Open the PDF file with Adobe Reader

2) Click 'print'

3) Click on 'advanced'

4) Check the 'print as image' box, and this should cover all potential issues.

Please contact tech crew at TpT if you continue to have problems. I really hope this helps because I know how frustrating it might be when you can't print something you just bought to use! Sorry for the inconvenience!

My boys love the Draw It Know Center. Would you have plans to do a boy themed one with rockets, cars, trucks, sports, space, etc.?

What a fantastic idea...being a mom of boys, I always think about all boy products...putting it on my list of products to create! When I post the product, be sure to email me (because I promise, I'll forget!) and let me know you were the one to give the idea...I will give it to you to try free! :) Thanks for stopping by!

I love this activity, and I see that I am not the only one having an issue printing. It will not let me print the PDF. Are there any other options?

Dear Customer, You can find a tutorial on my blog (http://mrsminersmonkeybusiness.com ) under the FAQ tab that has helped many people with this same issue. If that doesn't help, TpT sellers are asked to direct customers with any technical problems to them. So, if the tutorial doesn't help, you can email them. Thank you and I am sorry for your inconvenience. Krissy Miner

I am interested in this- but I was wondering if the powerpoint issues are solved yet. I would like the option to edit. I was also wondering if there is a page already for students to write their own sentence(s)- since I am in first grade. (Though I still might have some that need to copy!)

I can't fix it because I have no idea how to or what is causing the problems (for some, definitely not all). I am sure it has something to do with different versions of MPP, but can't say for sure. It is really frustrating...but I have just been writing the sentences (not because I can't access it, but for times sake when I need a directed drawing) by hand on the blank one and it works just as well. As far as writing about it, I would just copy lines onto the back for those kiddos to freely write about their drawing. Hope this helps!

I just tried the freebie and I am planning in purchasing it to use as a station. My only question is it possible to put a place for their name? My kids were writing their name is the Fill in the blank spots or the sentence space, and it just kinda threw them for a loop. Otherwise they really enjoyed it!

I know, that same thing happened to my kiddos (with the name!). There are a couple of things that I will be changing now that I have used a couple with my kiddos and will be uploading that new file for all who have already purchased it (no promises of when, though!). Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.

I have purchased this powerpoint and cannot print anything from it....would you be able to send me something (like a pdf version) so that I can use your program. It is exactly what I was wanting but I cannot use it in this format. Thank you... I see from the previous two questions that others have had this issue too.

I wish I knew why! I like to provide the editable option because I know I like to change the sentences depending on what we are focussing on at the time of the chosen drawing, but maybe it isn't worth it with all these problems! I m so sorry and am going to send you the pdf right now. Check your spam folder if you don't see it in your regular mail! Thanks for letting me know!

Hi, I purchased your Draw it file and it won't print off of my computer. I have powerpoint 2010. I can see the file but it prints as blank pages? Maybe if you e-mail it to me @ bellg@westottawa.net? It looks like you have a pdf version? Maybe that will work better.
thanks so much :)
