This is a complete guide for using the novel Dread Locks by Neal Shusterman (part of the Dark Fusion Series) in the classroom. The guide includes the following for each chapter: summary, comprehension questions, discussion questions and answer key for all questions. Also included are an author information page, extension activities, vocabulary, and a bank of test questions with answer key. Activities are included to meet the needs of a variety of readers, from low to high level.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I taught for nine years in public schools, and also taught at the junior college level for one year. I have taught a variety of levels, from remedial reading to gifted. I am a history buff, so my students read a lot of primary sources in my class. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in literacy studies.
All science materials are written by my husband, a science teacher with ten years experience working with multiple grade levels. His classroom games series is a great way to integrate some fun and competition or collaboration into your science lessons.
