Lesson 10 � The Industrial Revolution
Inventions in the mechanization of cloth-making; effects on slavery in the South; steamboats, toll roads, and the canal era; Samuel Morse, Cyrus McCormick, and John Deere. Each assignment has the reading for that assignment, with key vocabulary, comprehension questions, and one or two short answer essay questions. Each lesson also contains 2 fill-in-the-blank reviews, 2 quizzes, and other activities.
I have taught Middle and High School Social Studies and English in Phoenix area schools since 1986. I have taught in traditional public schools, Catholic and charter schools. Much of my teaching career has involved working with ESL students.
