Professional actor and teacher Thom Bray is back with another exciting Wordplay Audio Theatre presentation, this time a reading of Edgar Allan Poe's classic tale of horror, "The Cask of Amontillado."
This tale of horror and revenge is a perfect read along for Halloween, or any time of the year you're feeling in a bone chilling mood.
This Wordplay Theatre reading is perfect for English/Humanities classes, ELL, ESL, Drama and Speech, or just for holiday fun! The reading is about 13 minutes in length, suitable from 7th grade and up!
What listeners have said:
"Thank you! My students struggled through reading this story and will do much better hearing it aloud!"
"Your recording of the 'Cask Of Amontillado' is so cool. It gives the feeling that you are actually experiencing it. And the voices are just perfect for the characters..."
"My kids are quite jaded and hard to please when it comes to reading along with an audio version of the literature we cover... To my great surprise and pleasure, they (and I) LOVED your presentation. They said it really helped them understand and enjoy the story. We will definitely be using your podcasts again. Thank you for a job extraordinarily well done."
Enjoy, and please let us know what you think!
