This file breaks each standard into I-Can statements. At times, one standard is broken into several I-Can statements to bring the skill into focus a little more clearly. I plan on using this resource as part of my focus wall to show what we are working on at any given time.
The preview file shows three pages from the file to show you how each section of the ELA Standards is organized and color-coded. I have included the standard on each card, an I-Can Statement, and examples or other form of clarification of the skill! Happy Teaching!
My wife and I teach in the same elementary building - she liked the 3rd grade ELA and Math "I Can Statements" that I purchased so much, she asked me to get the 4th grade ELA "I Can Statements" for her as well. We love the professional and artistic quality of your work. Thanks again!

Perfect with what I'm teaching this year. Love it!
I am so happy you did one for 4th ELA. I do need the math and the 5th grade also. I emailed you before I found the 4th. I am teaching 4th and 5th grade AIG and no ones headers are as cute as yours! Please let me know if you make up the 4th grade Math and the 5th grade Reading and Math. Thanks!
I LOVE this set! This is such an amazing resource. You can tell that there was A LOT of time and detail put into each page. I am looking forward to using these headers in my classroom this year and to buying more products from you in the future! Thank you so much! :)

These are great but I to would love to get the ones for 4th grade math. Please put it at the top of your list ha ha ha
Haha! I do plan on creating them at some point, but honestly, it may not be until spring break or summer. :) I am so busy making things for my own classroom right now. These extra projects tend to go to the bottom of the list... rather than the top... since I can't use them with my own students. :) Sorry for the wait!

Hi! I am a fourth grade teacher who absolutely LOVED your ELA Common Core Focus Wall: I Can Headers for Fourth Grade!! I am hoping you are considering making a corresponding set of headers for Grade 4 Math. Please email me at luv_thestage@yahoo.com and let me know if that's a possibility. I would like both sets of Headers to match in each subject and I think yours are delightfully well done. Thanks so much...

Thanks so much, Ellen. I DO plan on adding them eventually, but to be completely transparent and honest, I have no idea when I will actually be able to do that. I have a lot of projects that I need to work on for my own classroom this year, and since I don't teach fourth grade, this project may slip down the list a few times. :) I will definitely work on it if I have the time for it... but since I'm also wrapping up grad school this semester... I just have no way of knowing if/when I will fit it in. I hope you understand!
