This is an oral practice powerpoint for ESL students who have some English but who may not yet be speaking in complete sentences. The Powerpoint uses visuals and repetition to allow students to independently practice making future plans for the weekend.
The Powerpoint is set up for easy independent practice. Students click to listen to a sentence which is presented word by word in an illustrated slide. Students then repeat the sentence. They can listen and repeat as many times as they like.
Also included are 6 worksheets for follow-up practice and consolidation of language presented and practiced in the Powerpoints.

Weekend Plans and Past Tense This file uses the same visuals as this product, but discusses weekend plans in the PAST tense.

I have been teaching for 20 years in a variety of school systems. 20 years ago I spent 4 years teaching ESL overseas and upon my return home to Canada I then spent 4 years teaching French Immersion in K, 1, 4, 5. This was followed by teaching Grade 1 for 5 years at an international school Japan with a large and varied ESL population mixed in with native speakers of English. I am now back in Canada teaching Grade 1 French Immersion again.
