This is a unit on the the early explorers which is fully integrated with reading. It is uploaded as a PowerPoint but I have also included the unit which took me 10 days to implement in the classroom. This product will allow you to pace your class and allow your students to learn about the explorers in a "workshop" model. Following the unit, you will model each day's lesson for your students and allow them to work in small groups to learn more about the explorers. The Unit is on the final four slides of the presentation.
