This is one component of a five-part unit that can be used with an Easter or oviparous animal theme. The images were too large to fit into one file on TPT, so I posted it as five separate mini-units. If you want the entire unit, you will need to purchase four of the five...the science portion is free. I apologize for the inconvenience, but it was the only way I could use the cute clip art I found! Here is what you get in each unit:
Part 1: Literacy: an inference little reader, an oviparous animal sort, and a rhyming word pairs game
Part 2: Writing: a read, write, and illustrate journal, a writing journal, and a punctu-egg-tion game
Part 3: Math: a math journal, a number sorting game and sorting mats
Part 4: Math 2: math surveys for kids, a money counting center, a game for reading large numbers
Part 5: three science experiments
This unit could easily be used as guided practice with kindergarteners and independent practice or review with first graders. I hope you enjoy! Kim Swoveland
Not yet....that is a summer goal of mine. There are so many terrific ones out there alread, but I hope to have one that I can use to post all of the art projects we do to go along with each unit. Thanks for the sweet post.

This complete unit was just what I needed to make learning the standards fun and meaningful. Thank you!
GREAT! I love that it worked for you. It is such a good feeling when you can use the things you purchase. Thanks so much for the feedback. I know what a busy time of year this is, so ir means so much!
I am so glad you feel that way. Thanks for your kind words.

Thanks for such a great Easter/Oviparous Animals unit. I loved your literacy and math ideas...and the writing journal was the best one I have come across. You are A-MAZING!
