These math centers can be used anytime throughout the school year, but they are also great for back-to-school.
There are 10 easy-to-make centers, in this packet you will find:
pgs 5-20 Read and Find (reading number words, identifying numbers on a 120s chart, identifying even/odd) Included: Student Sheet, Answer Key, 30 number word cards (in color and black and white
pgs 21-32: True or False, Addition Style (identifying correct and incorrect addition sentences) Included: Student Sheet, 36 addition sentences in color and black/white (half true, half false), sorting mats.
pgs 33-43: Subtract and Sort (students solve subtraction problems and sort into even/odd groups) Included: even/odd sorting mats, student sheet, answer key, 24 subtraction sentence cards in color and black/white (half even answers, half odd answers).
pgs 44-48: Put Me in Order! (ordering random numbers 1-120) Included: Student Sheet, answer key, 30 number cards.
pgs 49-57: Solve It (solving addition and subtraction word problems with pictures and numbers) Included: Student sheet, 8 word problems in color and black/white, answer key.
pgs 58-68: Finding the Missing Addend (solving addition sentences with a missing addend) Included: Student sheet, 4 sorting mats in color and black/white, 25 addition sentence with missing addend cards, answer key.
pgs 69-78: Shape Monsters Need Help! (identifying 2D shapes and their attributes, matching) Included: Student Sheet, Answer key, 8 shape cards in color and black/white, 24 attribute cards.
pgs 79-83: Measure Me (students measure length of object using inches) Included: Student Sheet, Answer Key, picture cards to measure in color and black/white. (YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE RULERS)
pgs 84-86: What Time Is It (studentS identify times written in different formats) Included: Flapbook, sorting words to cut/paste.
pgs 87-89: Hide and Seek, Number Words (identifying number words) Included: Word Search, Answer Key.
**All stations have student directions to put with the centers. Although these are in color, they will easily print in black/white as well. Most stations have cards needed to complete the activities. For best quality, print on cardstock, laminate for durability, and cut out in advance. If an activity has 2 student sheets, print these double-sided.

Hi Amy, it's not a big thing, but do you have the student direction pages in color? I love how you give the option of color or b&w in your other literacy packets. If not, no worries. (edit: Sorry, I just realized I put the question on your math packet rather than the Back to School Literacy packet I'm talking about.)

No, I was printing page 88 from a saved document not a preview file. Just to be sure, I downloaded it again (3rd time) and resaved it. It is still doing the same thing. Should I contact the help desk? Can you try sending me just that page in an email to see if that works? It's weird since everything else prints out fine.:0( Thanks again!

Hi Amy,
Love this product!! As I am printing everything out I am having one problem. The hide and seek number words page is printing out with 2 boxes blank (Row 10, 4th box down and last row, 5th box down), Also on the side where you find the number words and check them off 5 of them have the box filled in all black, and 4 of them only show a little white in the top left corner. There are also 6 letters in the last 4 rows that have heavy black lines thru them. I tried downloading the file again but the same thing happens. Any ideas? Everything else printed out perfectly. Thanks so much..........Karen

This is an easy fix, so no worries! It sounds like you're opening the document in "preview" in Adobe instead of download/saving the document. Give that a try and keep me posted if you still have issues :)

Hi Amy, So sorry for all the 'questions.' It seems my printing issues are an operator error... I'm not very tech savvy :( I'll tell you how I fixed it just in case someone else runs into this problem: on my computer the document opened in Adobe by default. You just need to change the document to open as a PDF. Problem fixed!!
