This graphic organizer worksheet shows the relationship between a number of vocabulary words/concepts in an ecosystem. Vocab words include: producer, consumer, decomposer, biomes, human impact, symbiosis-mutualism, commensalism, parasitism, food chain, food web. This would be a great quiz/assessment to see if students are able to place the words in the correct blank. Includes answer key for teacher. Another way to use this would be to complete as a class as students learn the concepts.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I am in my 8th year of teaching. Most of my teaching experience has been in 5th grade, but I taught 4th grade for two years and looped with those classes. I have a masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading and received National Boards Certification in Middle Childhood. Being an elementary teacher, I teach all subject areas and think about ways to engage children in content through collaboration and discussion.
