Perfect as we head back to school! This editable kit includes everything you need to implement M.O.N.K.E.Y. Books in your classroom. A MONKEY Book is a 3 ring binder that you send home with your students EVERY day. It provides a no-excuse method of keeping everyone informed and on top of what is going on at school (including you, parents and students alike). This kit includes EVERYTHING you need to start this in your classroom, from an explanation to parents to all of the labels you need to label the books. As an added bonus, the kit includes an editable academic year calendar (monkey themed, of course!). Implementing this system in my classroom was the best thing I ever did. It is so worth the extra time and effort it takes to put them together and also instills responsibility within the students.You must have Microsoft Powerpoint on your computer to be able to utilize the editable function on this document. This is great! I really liked the layout. It would be helpful to be able to add text to the calendar boxes too. I use it for my snack calendar and the written names is just not as professional looking. Thanks so much for sharing your cute notebook!

Quality was great! Love the binder covers. I could only edit a couple of pages and got really frustrated as I thought all pages were editable. I needed to change some content and wanted to add a few things, but I couldn't edit in power point as it downloaded on my computer as "read only."

You just add a text box wherever you want to type and type into it. You cannot change any of the text that I have written, only add text that you want to. Hope this helps. Sorry it is so late, I haven't been getting notifications that I have questions here at Tpt! :)

I downloaded the Monkey Binder Set and am trying to add the dates on the editable calendars and am having a hard time doing that. It lets me do it in some boxes but not all. Am i doing something wrong?

First I must say I love following your blog and purchasing your stuff!! I recently bought the other MONKEY communication binder you have for sale, but I love the color choices on the new binder kit.
