This Smartboard ready notebook file is a mini-lesson outlining how to edit student work. It gives examples of what should be capitalized as well as demonstrates correct use of punctuation. There are also some practice sections for students to complete. This is a very important skill for students. I used this lesson with my students for test prep as well as review in Writers Workshop and students grasp the concept quickly with continued practice.
