Your kids will be egg-cited about Easter with this set of 9 math and literacy centers that review many important first grade skills.
Note to buyers: These centers were all sold individually last year. They have been updated with new clipart and graphics and combined into one set.
Includes the following activities:
Bunny Hop Place Value - Students will read the clues printed on each card and place the numbered carrots on the place value gameboard to show the correct number.
Cracked Up Number Order- Students will draw two egg cards and use them to make the largest number possible and the smallest number possible.
Chocolate Eggs Full of Money-Students will count the coins on each egg card and match it with the corresponding amount printed on the chocolate bunnies.
Hop Into Math Addition & Subtraction {using tens and ones} -Students will read the story problems and decide if they have to add or subtract. They will record their work on the record sheet.
Bunny Word Sort-Students will read the word printed on each egg and decide if it is a noun, verb or adjective. They will record it on their record sheet and then use the words to write super Easter sentences.
Easter Words in ABC Order -Students will put the Easter words in ABC order and record them in their booklet. Then they will write a complete sentence using each word and draw a picture to illustrate their sentence.
Egggs-traordinary Sentence Scramble-Students will unscramble the words to create a complete sentence. They will record the sentence on their record sheet by applying correct capitalization and punctuation.
Scrambled Word Eggs-Students will shake the letter tiles out of each egg to create an Easter word. They will record the words they make on their record sheet and draw a picture to illustrate the word.
Real/Fantasy Rabbit Sentences-Students will read each sentence about rabbits and decide if it is a real sentence or a fantasy sentence. They record the sentences on their record sheet in the correct column. Then they will write their own real and fantasy sentence about a rabbit.

Hi ladies...I own this and love it, however, I've got a request. On a few of the activities it says "Easter." I'm a Christian gal but my district is very strict about everything being non-denominational. Could you possible change the activities that have/or say Easter to "Spring?" There are just a few. Maybe over the summer so next year I can use all the activities?

On the math story problem one of the pages is repeated, is this for a reason? Also there is re-grouping on some of the numbers do you teach re-grouping or is this somthing that you do togther? Sorry for all the questions!! I do LOVE the packet!!! My class has really enjoyed it this week!!

Hi! I love your center activities - and so do my first graders! I recently purchased the "Egg-Cited About Easter Math and Literacy Centers". When I was looking at the ideas today I realized that in the "Hop into Math Add. and Subt." center numbers 7-12 were repeated, but numbers 13 - 16 were missing. HELP...and THANKS!
