Yes, I realized that my question regarded TWO different activities... We are working on number words AND contractions... My question was regarding the Eggscellent Number Sentences. I understand how to utilize the contraction eggs! So sorry!

Hi there! For the Number Sentences game the students roll two dice and then either add or subtract the numbers on the dice. (You could even multiply or divide some of them for higher learners). For example, if you rolled a 3 and a 4...you could say 3+4=7 and write that equation underneath the 7 on the handout. If the 7 is already filled in, then you could write 4-3=1 under the 1. Or, you might say 3x4= 12 (and place that number sentence under the 12). The object of the game is to use both rolled numbers to create a number sentence for each number on the gameboard. I hope that makes sense. :)

I see that the game involves 2 dice, but i can't see what to do with the dice. It looks perfect for contraction reinforcement. How do you play?
