Get your students "egg"cited about making compound words with this fun, hands-on activity. This activity can be used with or without plastic easter eggs. If you choose not to use the plastic eggs, paper eggs are included in the packet. There is also a blank egg sheet to help you differentiate for your learners.
The students are expected to put two words together to make a compound word and write them on the recording sheet provided.
To challenge your students, we have included an additional sheet for them to write sentences using the compound words they created.

Kara has taught elementary school for over 6 years. Her experience has been in preschool, first grade, third grade, and resource room. She currently teaches first grade. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this wonderful profession. I have been teaching for over 3 years and my experience has been in Kindergarten and first grade. I currently teach Kindergarten. Both Kara and I work in the same district and absolutely love and enjoy what we do!
