This is a 3 page activity that is streamlined to the topic of elapsed time. It allows room to define "elapsed time" as well as for strategies students currently use on their own. It introduces an empty number line and table to students as ways to explore elapsed time (email me if you need to know how to use these). There is a page of word problems for the students to complete with you, partners, or individuals. It ends with a brief constructed response modeled after MSA but could be used by anyone!
