In this Field Day themed activity students solve elapsed time problems. This activity is designed as a "Scoot" where students rotate around the room to each problem recording their work on their own recording sheet. This scoot has 8 questions for students to work in partners or groups of 3.

Solve problems involving measurement and estimation of intervals of time, liquid volumes, and masses of objects.
1. Tell and write time to the nearest minute and measure time intervals in minutes. Solve word problems involving addition and subtraction of time intervals in minutes, e.g., by representing the problem on a number line diagram. CC.3.MD.1
