Government..... The Election......Patriotic Theme.... There are lots of uses for this paper.
If you are like me, you are always trying to integrate writing into other content areas. Social Studies and Science are the perfect times to have your students write about what they have learned. This type of non-fiction/informational writing reinforces the content they are studying. Not only does it give you an idea of what they are retaining in SS and Science, but you can evaluate their writing skills.

These pretty colors would look great hanging on a bulletin board or outside the classroom for a hall display.
There is just something about having a piece of 'pretty paper' for the final copy that makes kids work a little harder :-)
