Studying electricity? or maybe you just need a quick little reivew booklet before test time. Try this cute little booklet.
This booklet consists of:
*cover page
*Table of contents page- students write the page numbers on each page and fill in the table of contents
*Explain what electricity is and how they use it in their life.
*Define conductor and insulator and give an example of each.
*Define series and parallel circuits and draw the path of electricity in each picture. The kids can color the pictures.
*Define current electricity with pictures to color.
*Define static electricity and explain what will happen when you rub a balloon with wool and then hold it over tissue paper.
*Name 3 other interesting facts you have learned that were not mentioned in this booklet.
*A 'be safe' page for kids to color and wrie about some safety tips.
*2 blank pages in case you want to add other activities. You can write the assignment on the board and the kids can copy and complete on these pages.
If you are using this as a review, try it as a literacy center, as kids will be completing a table of contents, as well as looking definitions up. :-)
