This is a unit investigation workbook containing labs and experiments on electricity and magnetism. The workbook contains student directions for completing 8 electricity and magnetism experiments. It also contains a detailed supply list and diagrams for teachers to clarify completion of experimens. Each investigation contains a one-page, step-by-step instruction sheet and a recording sheet for students to record their observations, results, and conclusions. Each experiment comes with questions for students to answer to demonstrate their understanding of the principles taught. The workbook also contains a glossary and a title page designed so that the pages can be compiled into a workbook for each student or lab pair. The experiments have been successfully completed by students with disabilities in grades 2 through 5. 21 pages. Rebecca Bettis, 2007.

Hi! Thank you for your question. I created this product with 4th grade in mind because in my state that is when electricity and magnetism are taught. however, I think that it would work equally as well with 5th graders.

I have been a special education teacher since 1998. I currently teach a self-contained cross categorical class of 3rd through 5th graders. I have also taught k-6 resource classes and self-contained classes in the past. I currently teach in North Carolina, but I taught for 4 years in Texas.
