MY CART
This is basically a word sort but with crayons instead of slips of paper. Students identify the ending on the word and color it according to the key. I use this in connection with Saxon Phonic as a review. I put this in a word study group or in a literacy center after each ending has been taught in isolation. It is a great activity during the active, inattentive prior to Christmas frenzy the kids go into.
