Between 1892 and 1954, over 30 million immigrants traveled through Ellis Island as they made their way to the "Land of Opportunity", the United States. This Web Quest guides students through the valuable information on the official Ellis Island website. Students will examine different trends in immigration, how different classes were treated, and various other aspects of this historic time-period in the United States.
