This is a Book Study based on the Book Elmer by David McKee. It is a wonderful book about being happy with who you really are! This book study goes perfectly during a study of geometric shapes or can stand on its own at any time of the year. Here are the contents:
Reading Response Rubric - Explanation of student requirements with specific criteria for scoring. Parents love to see this!
Student Book Study Cover Sheet- completed by each child after hearing the story as the first activity of the book study.
Story Map- A cute rainbow themed graphic organizer for students to fill out.
Character Cube- Students write about Elmer on a paper that they fold into a cube.
