This emergent reader was created with Earth Day in mind. It contains simple, repetitive text using common sight words. I have included 2 versions of the reader. The first one contains illustrations and written text. The second one contains fill-in-the-blank sentences and illustrations. My Kinder kiddos love to read these simple books and this ties in great with any Earth Day theme unit! The layout is designed so that you can print 2 "mini" books. When you copy them, you can save paper! I run mine double-sided! I hope you find this resource helpful for your classroom! If you love this resource, please leave me positive feedback. Very cute, I love the fill-in-the-blank version! I also would love to have a black-and-white version so students can color it themselves.

I am currently teaching 1st Grade, and love it! I have also previously taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade.
