At the end of the year, we do theme days such as Book Swap and Game Day. Print this FREE Download letter to send home to parent to explain what the kids need to bring in.
Book Swap - bring in old books and swap them!for other old books to enhance summer reading
Game Day - being in board/card games to exchange and play at school!
This idea is great! Thanks for sharing!! I'm now a follower of yours. I hope maybe you could check out my store and follow me as well! I have a couple of freebies you may like; I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts and rating if you like them. Thanks, Ann Marie Smith

I think that on the book swap note that the l in "let's" near the bottom of the page should be capitlized.
I love these ideas. The book swap is absolutely wonderful - encourages reading and it is eco-friendly. What a great way to show children how swapping is another form of purchasing power but without using money! THe game day idea is excellent, too. I feel that it promotes sharing and allows the child to be the leader of his/her game - it lets them be the teacher!
