Each year seems to fly by faster then the year before. At the end of each school year I send this touching letter home with my students.
This is a FREE download of an end of the school year parent letter. I have included a few different borders for each letter. Please note that there is a separate boy letter and girl letter.

thank you for sharing! We read this to our parents last year at graduation, and just reading it again this year makes me want to cry! It is so so true!
You're welcome. They are not my own words but they are so true and touching. Glad I could bring them to you!

This is a beautiful letter for parents. Thank you so much for sharing! If you are willing to share, I would love to see your beginning of the year letter!
This is excellent. I have always sent a letter home, but I LOVE yours! Yours is much better than my own letter, and I can't wait to mold the two together. Thank you for the inspiration!
This is such a sweet letter! Thanks for sharing it all cute-sied up :)

What a very nicely stated letter. Thank you so much for sharing!
I'm such a sap this time of year! This letter really touched me, as I cherish each and every child long after they're in my class. (Don't all teachers?) Thanks for sharing!

Hi Randi!
I love your letter! It is amazing! As a parent, I would be so touched if I received this from my child's teacher. With this amazing end of the year letter, I am curious what your beginning of the year letter is like. Would there be any way that you would be willing to share?
I'm sad to say that I don't have a beginning of the year letter! Sorry! Thank you for your kind words.

Hi, Randi. I LOVE your letter! Is there a way that I could get one so that it said "ten" months instead of "nine?" If you could let me know that would be wonderful. Thank you!
Hi Randi,
Where did you get this end of year parent Letter? I have a copy of this exact letter that I received from a fellow teacher over 15 years ago and have always wanted to know the original author.
Catherine,
I have had the letter for about 5 years. I found it online and don't really remember where. I have tried to find the author with no luck. Many people have said that they've had it for 10+ years. I decided to put it on TPT since it's so touching. I would love to find the original author too. I offer it for free since it's not my work.

End of the year parent letter--In the first paragraph....not "then s/he was then"....should be "than s/he was then". Any way to edit this? Thanks!
I have been teaching for 5 years in North Carolina. My experience is in Kindergarten and First Grade. I often teach staff developments within my school and for my county.
