Using this worksheet makes analyzing nonfiction and fiction text easier for your students. Independently, Students can read text and then analyze their reading by completing this frame/graphic organizer. They will be asked to record key events, people, terms, etc. and then analyze the importance of this event.

Practical Classroom Uses
You can use this as a pre-reading exercise to activate prior knowledge before starting a lesson and/or use it as an assessment after a lesson has been completed.

During class lectures it keeps all students attending to the lesson since they will be asked to fill in the chart.

It is also helpful when showing a video in class. Students can be asked to fill in the sheets and then type up this information for homework.

Works wonderfully in small groups when you assigning multiple readings to your class. Have the students read their selected text, fill out their sheets, and then report back to the class about their reading.
