Eleven writing models, one per page, arranged in increasing proficiency are the mainstay of this file. These are designed for either learning centers or independent student work.
As they are differentiated, a teacher may start each student at his or her own proficiency point - at the beginning, or anywhere along the continuum. Directions are on each page as well as check lists for students to acknowledge they have followed the directions.
Topics are student friendly. Three additional prompts are added for teachers to assess progress along the continuum or for all-class assignments.
Easily usable with overheads or transferrable to smart/prom boards.
A word search for early finishers is included.

Great idea....overcomes that horrible nothing to write about syndrome...while still requiring thinking and writing skills. Students will be successful and that will lead them to more independence.
