This set of tests and quizzes were incredibly basic, simply following the plot line and leaving out a few key words to be filled in. Some of the questions actually give away the answers to the previous question in their wording. If you want simple reading checks that don't require critical thinking or synthesis of information, then these would be fine. However, for an upper level literature course, I would not recommend them.

I taught English (grades 9 - 12) for 36 years in public schools. I have also taught basic computer courses for adults as part of our schools senior evening school program.
