This lesson is my variation of the NASA for kids lesson on solar energy using the solar beads. The students will explore solar energy using solar beads. They will determine that the sun gives off energy that we can see (visible light) as well as energy that we cannot see (ultraviolet rays) and observe the effects of ultraviolet rays.
