Explore alternative forms of energy with your students. This project gives students a chance to see how scientific knowledge benefits our quality of life. Students work in groups to create a multimedia project that demonstrates their knowledge of alternative energy (renewable energy sources). Students investigate solar, wind, biomass, hydropower, nuclear and other forms of energy as they attempt to solve the high cost of energy and decrease the amount of pollution that contributes to global warming. Packet includes teaching guide, student handouts, project timeline and rubric.
