PowerPoint Presentation to help explain (visually) the concept of equivalent fractions, using bar graphs. Includes a template to print fraction strips for use with interactive activities using the animated lesson. Fraction segments can be shaded with the click of a mouse, or SMARTboard pen, and can be cleared just as easily. The buttons beneath the bar graphs can be clicked to show the equivalence between fractions.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Subject Area:

7 years of teaching experience in addition to 15 years in manufacturing which included program development and personnel training. Completed several projects, during 2006 and 2007, for a national learning center developing PowerPoint Lessons which are currently being used as tutorials for state testing. Currently employed as a 7th grade math teacher.
