PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The goal of this activity is to have students make observations about quadratic relationships. Students construct their own meaning and understanding of quadratic relationships and will be able to tell you the characteristics of graphs of quadratics by the end of this activity.
This investigation into quadratic relationships will give your students some context with which to apply to new and different problems involving quadratics.
Packet includes investigation worksheet, answer key and teacher tips.

This particular activity involves fixed perimeters and areas of rectangles. Students will be drawing rectangles with a fixed perimeter, completing a table of values, graphing, reading graphs and tables and answering critical thinking questions.
