Here is a graphic organizer to review the following exponent rule concepts (or laws). It coveres a review of adding and subtracting monomials (combine like terms, don't change exponents), product rule, power rule, quotient rule, and negative exponent rule.
It is a great way to organize all the concepts and have everything together. Answer key is included.
I used this today to review our exponent rules with the class. It was a great re-cap of what we have learned and helped remind them of some things they had forgotten.
Thank you for the graphic organizers you have posted here! I am a special education teacher in inclusion classes and have been looking for graphic organizers (with answer keys since Math is not my area of expertise!) to give to my students with IEP's to help them keep track of everything in a visual way. Thank you so much! I will snatch up every graphic organizer you put up and I would pay for these!! Thanks thanks thanks!
Thank you! It's my pleasure to share them. I'm using the factoring one tomorrow! Sometimes you just have to see everything on one page. They help my students tremendously before we are taking a quiz or test. I'm so happy to hear that they are helping your students organize the information.
What a great resource for students to review the rules of exponents. Your "Exponent Rules Graphic Organizer" was the featured "Free Lesson of the Day" at The Best of Teacher Entrepreneurs.
Have a great new year,
Vicky
