This algebra activity focuses on exponential functions. This game requires students to represent exponential functions numerically, algebraically, graphically and verbally. The game packet includes detailed instructions, 512 function cards, and a record sheet.
The cards include 8 sets of functions...4 growth sets and 4 decay sets. Each set includes parent functions with x-axis reflections and/or vertical translations only. Each of the 8 sets include 64 cards...16 tables, 16 function rules, 16 graphs, and 16 descriptions.
This set offers variety! You can use the entire package as a station activity. Or you can customize your deck to meet the specific needs of your students. Students can play an individual solitaire-like card game or a Go Fish! card game for teams of 2-4 players. This is a game that can be played repeatedly for continued practice.

Would you consider making a matching game that has linear, quadratic, exponential, absolute value, square root and rational all mixed up? I am planning an end of year lesson tying all of these parent functions and their related domains/ranges/translations, etc.
I like your work.
This is lucky year #13 for me. I taught 10 years of high school math and then moved down to 7th and 8th grade! I am convinced junior high is the best kept secret! Shhh...don't tell. :)
