This is a bundle of exponents and exponential functions materials. The 35 files include notes, exploration activities, worksheets, reviews, quizzes, skills checks, and test questions. This is a mix from Algebra I, Algebra II, and Math Models, but all are easily modified to fit the class you are teaching!

Are there directions for "Around the World" and "Comparing Banks"? Thanks

Good evening! Sorry about that- here are the directions for each:

Around the world: Cut each page along the solid line. Hang the pages in random order around the room. (Sometimes I let first period kiddos hang a page where they wanted to around the room and they thought it was fun to put them in weird places!). Then kids would start at any page they wanted. They work out the problem on the top and then find their answer on another page around the room. They then work the problem on the top of the new page they just found and continue until they make it back to where they started. If they don't find their answer then they know they made a mistake.

Comparing Banks: I hung each 'bank' page around the room. (If you have a big class, hang 2 or 3 copies of each bank so the students aren't crowded around one page). Then students walk to each bank and use their worksheet as place to calculate which bank will give them the most money with their raffle winnings.

Hope that helps! Have a great night!

Could you tell me what activities are included in this packet? I'm looking for an exponential decay activity that's not with M&Ms or pennies. Thanks!

Hi Leslie!

I have an exponential decay with CBL's in my listings (not sure if you have those in your classroom): http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Exponential-Cooling-Lab-with-CBL

I have another exponential decay activity with bouncing basketballs but I don't have it in my shop. I can email it to you if you want (assuming I can find it on my flash drive!). I used it in my class and loved it, but it is an extension of a textbook activity which is why I don't sell it. What is your email address?

The only other activity in the packet is the M&M's so you may not want to purchase this set if you are looking for a decay activity. :)
