It's great meeting you (albeit digitally). Your store looks terrific!!! You got quite a following . . . I'm your 1009th follower. Would LOVE any pointers you have to offer.
Enjoy BC . . . I was there years ago on a cross-continent drive . . . Is there anywhere more beautiful in the summer?
Awesome freebie! Thanks! I did not realize you were from Canada (I've seen your name come up several times on forums in regards to being a top seller). I'm from MB...not a lot of Canadians compared to Americans so when I hear of a Canadian top seller it's very motivating! I'm slowly but surely plugging away! Good luck in your continued sales! - Shey (aka Classroom Sparrow)

Nice! I have my Special Education high school students do something similar each month using Microsoft Office but this looks easier so I'm going to try it. Thanks for the freebie! Peggy Simpson Rescue Dogs' Series
Thanks for sharing this great contribution! I like your style! I’m new to tpts. I’m a bilingual teacher in Argentina. You can visit my store at http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/store/theenglishgrammarworld you can leave a comment if you wish! I’m your follower number 592 . hugs Hernán Giannini
I really liked the quality and thorough use of time and space. You really included a lot in this freebie, and didn't skimp on it at all. I am also glad you include a rubric. I think they are a good way to inform students of exactly what you expect, so there are no surprises. I'm brand new to TpT, and still haven't loaded any products yet. I will get there, I just want it to be ready before I load anything. Trying to put more into the appearance of my products.

This is a fantastic product! Thank you. I have featured it here in my October's Best Teacher Freebies collection: http://thecornerstoneforteachers.com/2012/10/octobers-best-teacher-freebies.html
I plan to have my students write articles about the village where the monologues in "Good Masters, Sweet Ladies!" take place. Your template and rubric will make this process much easier for me. Thanks!
AlyAbox I think you're thinking of a different item... there are no mealworms needed for this expository writing activity????

Thanks so much for sharing this! I was planning to have my 4th and 5th graders create a newspaper from space (our school theme this year) next week, and this is exactly what I need. Great job!

I teach computers and previously taught math. It is hard for me to teach the children the writing component that goes along with the computer programs. I will use this format when teaching Publisher this year. Great job.

I really like this format, and will attempt to use it as an introduction activity for my grade 9 students to practice, before writing their 'To Kill a Mockingbird' news articles I usually give. The assignment sheet really 'hits home', the idea that it is MORE than just a news article - it needs to LOOK like a newspaper!
Thanks - nicely;y put together project. It will be great with my AIS Reading class - takes them from boring assignments to something fun. Sneaks in the learning!

Is there a way that you can change this into a .doc so that my students can use it in a computer work station or in the computer lab and not have to hand write in it? I can only seem to save it as a pdf. It looks WONDERFUL and I'd love to use it with my kids! Thanks for posting and being willing to do so for FREE! :) LOVE it!
Hi - I can send you a copy of the templates in a word doc.. the kids can then type into the templates on the computer. If you e-mail me at Addie_Education@yahoo.com - I'll send them to you.
I have over 15 years of high-school and middle-school teaching experience - I have taught a mish-mash of subjects including English, ESL, Geography and Science.
