This is an extensive study of the novel The Year of the Hangman by Gary Blackwood. This novel study contains vocabulary by chapter, prediction logs, chapter questions, an answer guide, activities, bulletin board design idea, final project ideas, and a set of questions for students to use to help the students write a biography on the author. The complete document is 62 pages long. It works well as a blog, too.
Very helpful in giving ideas for teaching the novel. I've been struggling with how to teach this to lower readers and this information will be very useful.

The questions really help guide the reading. The vocab forces them to look up words they would otherwise skip. I could not be happier with this, and plan to use it every year.
Thank you so much for such a positive review of the unit. I am so glad that you are so happy with it. If you ever want to submit examples of what your students do with it, I would be happy to post them on www.ideasforteachers.org. Thanks again!

Nice. I don't see the actual Novel. Is the Novel itself in here?
No, you do not need to purchase a license for each student. The licenses are such that if you want to share an item that you purchased with another teacher, then TpT is asking that an additional license be purchased.
