I am so happy with these games that I want to share one with you for FREE!!! Try this with your class. I think you will be back for more! I am planning more free Watch, Think, Color games. Follow me for updates!
Watch, Think, Color! Students watch the board, think about the clues to figure out the number, and color the spot indicated. When they are finished, they have made a cute picture. In this version of the game, numbers are displayed and students must color-in the corresponding number on their chart. This is a great level for kids who are still becoming familiar with finding numbers on a hundreds chart or are just getting used to playing the game. There are lots of versions of the Watch, Think, Color games focusing on many skills - counting coins, place value, reading number words, and expanded notation. Find the skill that is right for your class!
This game gets the whole class focused on the activity. They get so sucked into the game, they don't realize they are practicing math skills! Slides change automatically! This game lasts approximately ten minutes. That gives you a chance to grade papers, check email, write a note to a parent, do whatever you need to do! Your class is actively engaged and learning while you can get some work done! This is also great to have on-hand for a rainy day or if you have a sub.
Students will need a hundreds chart to play this game. You can download it for free in my store!
These can be tricky the first time your class uses them. Did you find the directions for shutting off or changing the timing? I am glad to hear that your class had fun. Thanks for the feedback! :)
What a great way to reinforce the hundreds chart. Your "FREE 2013 Watch, Think, Color Hundreds Chart Fun Game!" was the featured "Free Lesson of the Day" at The Best of Teacher Entrepreneurs.
Wishing you the best,
Vicky
Love it! Reminds me a bit of something that my class used to do when I was in 2nd grade, and it was always my favorite thing to do! I have been wanting to do them with my students for years, and I finally found a way! Thank you!

I have taught third grade and preschool, but my true passion is for first. I have been in first-grade for seven years now and have no plans to ever leave it! First grade is my home.
