Could you make the confetti card without the day in it? We don't always start on a Monday and I'd love to use it. Thanks, Cindy

What do you put in your ready confetti packet? I totally agree that we veteran teachers need to stay passoniate about our profession.

Hi there!
Yes, as hard as it can be sometimes - staying passionate is my goal :)
I put a little baggie of mixed sequins/confetti. You can get it at wal-mart in the craft aisle. Here's a blog post about it that shows a picture http://sunnydaysinsecondgrade.blogspot.com/2011/07/ready-confetti.html

Hope this helps!

First of all, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything in your store!! I wish I could buy all of it - and I just may end up with most of it if I stay in second grade next year :)! I am going to purchase at least one set of the Weekly Word Wizard sets. We are well past half-way through the year, and I am going to use them as review to prepare for standardized testing. Do the sets get harder or will I be fine to purchase any that you have available?

Also, I am also loving your "Math Mania Weekly Math Review", however, we don't have Smartboards in our school. Do you have it in any other version that I can open without having a Smartboard?

Again, thank you so much for sharing all this fabulous 'stuff'. I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate teachers like you - I am so NOT creative nor have the time to create graphically wonderful, engaging activities!

Thanks again,
Cynthia Grantham

Hi Cynthia!
What a nice message to read - totally just made my day (maybe my whole week even!) The Word Wizard sets don't really get progressively harder, since they're a review of basic skills. I'd be happy to send you a pdf of the math mania page. Just email me at ShopSunnyDays@me.com

Have a great weekend!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Grades Taught:
Subject Area:

I've been teaching for 17 years. I started out as a 5th grade drop-out prevention teacher and I am currently teaching 2nd grade gifted students. In between, I also taught 3rd and 4th grade, was the Drop-out prevention resource specialist, and taught writing as a special. I value each of my different experiences so much because they have really given me a unique perspective of the needs of so many different teachers and students.
